Join us for a night of 2 outstanding presenters, networking, great catering and after hours drinks.  We’re pleased to introduce to present to our Community:

Speaker 1:  Peir Lai , Principal Industry Consultant, SAS

Title:  Secret Sauce Transition between Agile and Service Management

Abstract:  Ever wondered if the Agile delivery methodology is really delivering the speed, value and benefits "as advertised"? How do Service Management professionals operate in this increasingly agile environment whilst ensuring the appropriate governance and service transition outcomes are achieved? Peir Lai, a seasoned program delivery professional who has taken a $150m a year portfolio from a pure Water Fall to a Scaled Agile regime will share his experience and invites you to participate in open discussion on this hot topic.

Speaker 2:  David Cullen, Principal Advisor on Cyber Incidents and Emergency Management at Victoria's Department of Premier and Cabinet

Title:  Cyber Incidents and Service Management

Abstract: There are only three things certain in life: death, taxes and cyber incidents. Cyber incidents are inevitable for all organisations that rely on digital systems and services. This session will discuss the creation of the Victorian Government Cyber Incident Response Service to support government in reducing the scope impact and severity of cyber incidents. Since its establishment in July 2018, the service has responded to more than 250 cyber incidents involving government organisations, including several major data breaches with statewide and national implications. The session will feature practical case studies to highlight the modern realities and challenges of managing major cyber incidents.

Please note, our original title for Q3 seminar was “2019 Conference – the best (local) bits”, however, due to the unavailability of key speakers, in true Agile fashion we’ve adapted and change the theme for the seminar.
